WOOL - Hallingdal from Kvadrat designed by Nanna Ditzel
Hallingdal was Kvadrat's first textile and is considered to be the foundation of current wool textiles. It is a highly durable material - designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1965. Nanna Ditzel designed our InCharge chair and covered it with Hallingdal wool. Hallingdal is available in 58 different colours, see them all here. Our standard colours are black, blue, white and red. Compound has a dry neoprene-like surface that is comfortable to sit on. This is a strong and very flexible material, making it ideal for environments that require a high standard of hygiene.
