The elegant InCharge Black Office chair was designed Nanna Ditzel in 1993. It is created in a functional and timeless design for today's and future workplaces. The model is similar to InCharge Office with the exception that the frame is black.
The philosophy behind Ditzel's design is built on human anatomy and a principle of being active and strengthening the body through a natural balance even when you sit down. The chair itself does not take much space, and it fits into all working environments or homes where design, aesthetics and functionality are a priority. The seat is designed to fit your pelvis. Even if it takes a little habituation, you will feel that it is easier to straighten your back than on a traditional office chair. At first, you may notice the front shape of the chair, which prevents you from sliding down the chair, but that feeling will disappear after a few days once your body has become accustomed to the chair.
You sit correctly when you have an open angle in your hip joint while sitting on the InCharge Black Office. You should be able to reach the ground with flat feet, but it is a good idea to change the height of the chair during the day as it provides variation in your sitting position. The chair has a stepless height control using a gas cartridge, which makes it easy for you to set the seat height to what you want.
This chair comes in Hallingdal wool from Kvadrat, which also is designed by Nanna Ditzel.
InCharge Black Office is in black lacquered aluminum.
This chair fits both office, home office and home in general.
